SMS Communication: Please note that possible scheduling or follow-up SMS messages we send may be subject to data rates, and the frequency will vary based on scheduling needs. Students are welcome to ask for help or revoke their consent to SMS at any time.

Communication Policy: Email and Text Notifications:  At EZ WiLL Driving SchooL, we utilize electronic communication to ensure our students are well-informed about their scheduled lessons and any important updates. By enrolling with us, students acknowledge and agree to receive communications via both email and text message (SMS).

Email Communications:

Students will receive timely email notifications for a variety of essential communications, including:

  • Appointment Confirmations: Immediately following the booking of a driving lesson or classroom session.

  • Appointment Reminders: Typically sent 24 to 48 hours prior to a scheduled appointment to help prevent missed lessons.

  • Cancellation/Rescheduling Notifications: Prompt updates regarding any changes to a booked appointment.

  • Promotional Offers and Updates: Occasional communications detailing special offers, new course availability, changes to school policy, or other relevant news from EZ WiLL Driving SchooL.

Text Message (SMS) Notifications:

In addition to email, we may use text messages for urgent reminders or time-sensitive communications, such as:

  • Last-Minute Reminders: A brief text reminder closer to the appointment time.

  • Instructor Communication: Essential coordination messages from the student's assigned driving instructor.

  • Emergency or Operational Updates: Immediate alerts regarding weather-related closures or unforeseen operational changes.

Consent to Communications:

By providing their contact information, students explicitly consent to receiving these communications, including both informational messages (like appointment confirmations and reminders) and promotional/marketing content (like special offers). Standard message and data rates may apply for text messages, depending on the student's mobile carrier plan. Students are responsible for any charges incurred.

Opting Out:

Students who wish to opt-out of promotional emails can do so by clicking the "unsubscribe" link found at the bottom of any marketing email. For text messages, students may reply "STOP" to any of our text communications to opt-out of future SMS messages, though this may prevent them from receiving critical appointment reminders. Please note that even if a student opts out of marketing communications, they will continue to receive essential transactional and service-related emails and texts necessary for the operation of their driving instruction services (e.g., appointment confirmations).

EZ WILL DRIVING SCHOOL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AGREEMENT

1. General Agreement and Acknowledgment

By enrolling in any course or service offered by EZ Will Driving School, the student (and/or their legal guardian, if applicable) acknowledges and expressly agrees to all terms and conditions detailed herein. These terms govern the provision of all driving education and training services.

2. Scope of Driver Training Services

The standard Driver Training package, which includes six (6) hours of Behind-the-Wheel instruction, covers only the actual instruction time with a certified driving instructor. This service explicitly does not include the official California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) drive test.

3. DMV Drive Test Vehicle Use and Fees

If the student elects to use an EZ Will Driving School vehicle for their official DMV drive test, this is considered an additional, separate service. An extra fee will apply for the use of the school vehicle, scheduling coordination, and the instructor's time for this purpose. This fee is distinct from the standard Driver Training fee.

4. Enrollment Duration and Expiration

All enrollments and payments for Drivers Education (DE) and/or Drivers Training (DT) services are valid for a period of six (6) months only, commencing from the date of enrollment/payment. Students must complete the enrolled services within this six-month timeframe. If the course or training is not completed within this period, the enrollment will expire. After six months, additional administrative and/or renewal fees may be required to reactivate the enrollment and complete the remaining services.

5. Refund Policy (Non-Refundable Services)

All payments made for the following services are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • The DMV drive test vehicle use fee.

  • The Drivers Education (DE) course fee.

  • The Drivers Training (DT) Behind-the-Wheel instruction fee.

This policy applies regardless of the student's personal circumstances, failure to complete the course, or dissatisfaction with the scheduling availability.

6. Student Responsibility for DMV Appointments

It is the sole responsibility of the student to independently schedule, verify, and confirm the details of their DMV drive test appointment (date, time, and location) directly with the Department of Motor Vehicles.

7. Liability for DMV Appointment Discrepancies

EZ Will Driving School is not responsible for any scheduling errors, technical issues, or discrepancies within the DMV's system. In the event the student arrives for a scheduled service (e.g., vehicle use for the drive test) and the DMV does not have a corresponding appointment in their system, the student will still be liable for and required to pay the full fee previously agreed upon for the EZ Will Driving School service, as the instructor and vehicle time was reserved and utilized.

8. SMS Communication Consent and Data Rates

By enrolling, the student (and/or their legal guardian) consents to receive possible scheduling updates, follow-up messages, or service-related reminders via Short Message Service (SMS) text messages. The frequency of these SMS messages will vary based on the student's scheduling needs and instructional progress. Students acknowledge that standard data and message rates from their mobile carrier may apply to these communications. Students are welcome to reply to any SMS for help or to contact the school. Students may revoke their consent to receive SMS communications at any time by notifying EZ Will Driving School.

Student Requirements

For every driving lesson, students must have their valid permit present. If your permit specifies corrective lenses, you are required to wear your glasses or contact lenses.

For safety, please wear appropriate footwear: shoes that are secure and not high-heeled (e.g., avoid flip-flops, sandals, and platforms).

Communication Notice

Please be aware that standard data rates may apply to any scheduling or follow-up SMS messages we send. Message frequency will vary based on your scheduling needs. You are welcome to ask for help or revoke your consent to receive these SMS messages at any time.
